This weekend, Scott and I will be celebrating our one-year anniversary!! I just don't know how this year went by so quickly. The old saying, "time flies when you're having fun," couldn't be more appropriate! This year has been
so much fun. Sure, we hit a couple of small rough patches (especially negotiating the temperature in the house.) but we also experienced some amazing times. I'll share more of the highlights and learning points from our first married year on Monday. For today, I wanted to share a single picture from our special day last January!

It's been a long time since I participated in Friday's Fancies. Actually, the first time I did it was the last time. Do you remember that
post? It was a lot of fun, I just neglected to
rejoin the fun. Anyway, this week's challenge was kind of a free-for-all inspired look, so I thought it would be fun to construct a *dream* outfit that I would wear for our anniversary dinner.
I saw the dress first and thought it was simple but elegant--just my style. I love the color and that it's a one-shoulder dress. Everything else just fell into place after that. Here's what I'm linking up to

I had to chuckle because as my bf & I prepare to move in together I brought up that we cannot keep the heat blasting like I have been in my apartment because our power bill will go through the roof heating a house... & he was like if I'm cold, I'll turn the dang thing on! I shook my head thinking oh boy this is going to be an adventure! :) Back to Friday Fancies... oh my gosh I want that outfit for Valentine's Day or something!
