Happy Friday! Funnies, Fancies, and Furniture?

Okay, when I was looking at awkward wedding photos last Friday, I found this awkward wedding photo and couldn't stop laughing.  Creepy, right?  But so 80s early 90s!

For Friday's Fancies this week, we were supposed create an outfit for the theme:  Winter Wonderland.  As you can see, I chose a lot of neutral colors and strayed away from the blues and whites.  I love the tweed cape-coat.  I definitely know I don't have--or may not ever have enough money saved up for those earrings.  Aside from the earrings (because of the $), I would totally wear this outfit in a *Winter Wonderland*.  The only thing is, it feels like Spring here now.
What do you think?

Okay, it's been way too long since my last craft project and I'm itching to do another one soon.  While Scott and I were in Lancaster, Pennsylvania for New Years, my sister-in-law and brother-in-law took us to a little Amish town nearby.  My husband was so excited to purchase this awesome shelf, but I've been trying to think of things I could do to/with it.

Do I stain it or paint it? What color do I paint it? I just don't know yet.  Any thoughts or ideas?  I'm open to any and all that you may be able to offer!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

  3. OMG. That picture is hilarious and scary! That shelf is so cute. I would paint it (probably white - because that is what I do) but what are you going to use it for? It has oodles of potential!

  4. They look like those floating parents of Superman, don't they? CRAZY! Please don't have babies that will float around and pee on our heads or something. Scary.

Hey....how did you do your collage? Please email me as I would love to know your technique of getting images, then arranging them (with numbers) and having it as ONE image. I am IMPRESSED!

  12. That wedding photo is a bit strange...you are right, very 80's. Wonder if the couple has it hanging above their mantle?? Good luck deciding what to do with the shelf. Let us see when you have it completed!!

  13. No, it's not just you, for I also though that wedding photo to be a bit "creepy." Yikes!

Okay, I have to have that brown coat! I love it! Brown is one of my favorite colors. :)

As for the shelf, I don't know. I'm not much of a crafting person, so I can't really help you on this one. Sorry!

    Blessings!
