The photo challenge continues. Here are a few more pictures (of the hundreds and hundreds) that I took on our trip to Japan.
I've taken and will continue to take lots of pictures of those I love. Here's a picture of a special someone I love: my husband. This week has been really special for us. We've both been reflecting on our past year--our first year married. Yes, this weekend we'll celebrate your one-year anniversary. It's hard to believe a year has passed since we both said "I do", but it has and it's been an amazing year. I'll share more soon.
Here are a few shots I took of my husband, someone I love dearly!
Another picture from our trip to Japan, here's a long exposure shot. My brother, sister-in-law, and my husband were admiring the ferris wheel in Yokohama, Japan.

Well, I've completed 18 photo challenges and have 12 more to go! This has been such a fun experience! Anyone else out there working on this challenge or another challenge? Share your link, I'll check out your shots!
Also, this is the first time I'm participating in the Edit Me challenge, but I don't foresee it being the last. Here is a before picture that I was supposed to work with. Below, you can see the picture after my edits.
Before
After
Here's what I did:
- I increased the recovery, fill light, blacks, brightness, contrast & clarity (slightly)
- I also increased the vibrance but put the saturation on low
- I increased the detail and sharpening
- I reduced the exposure over the edge of the water a little bit so you could see some of the clouds reflecting off of the water.
