“In character, in manner, in style, in all things, the supreme excellence is simplicity.” Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
The photo for the Edit Me Challenge came from this week's judge, Beth, from Snaps of Our Life.
Talk about finding beauty in simplicity!
Before My Edit:
Here's My After:
Here's what I did for the edit:
I cropped it a bit.
Slightly increased the exposure but decreased the recovery.
As I increased the blacks, I slightly increased the fill light
I increased the brightness and contrast quite a bit
Clarity and vibrance increased but I lowered the saturation levels.
I also sharpened it up a bit.
What do you think? What would you do differently?

That is beautiful! I love the contrast, especially the bright highlights. I really need to learn better editing techniques. I was a photo major in the PRE-digital era and have been stand-offish with Photoshop. Will be checking back to see what else you come up with.
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
