Beginnings

Hey Everyone!  I hope you all had wonderful weekends.  Our weekend was very nice.  Scott's grandfather came to visit and we've had the chance to spend the past 6 days with him.  We hardly ever get visitors, so it was nice to entertain a new guest and show them around the first town we claim as home since becoming husband and wife. 

I was just thinking about that the other day, actually.  I was thinking about how we'll always look back at our time here in North Carolina and the apartment we lived in and this will be where we began our journey as husband and wife.  Our current kitchen will always be the first kitchen I used to cook Scott his first meal as his wife--so many sweet memories. 

I'm not sure when we'll be moving next, or even where we'll be moving, but being in the Army, we know it's inevitable that we'll move on at some point.  But it's nice to think about all of the memories we've made in our home thus far.  I'm sure we'll have some more great ones before we move on.  

As the Roman Philosopher, Seneca, once said "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end."  One thing's for sure, I'm blessed to be able to start each new beginning with Scott--so very blessed.
