Sometimes, it's hard to get back into the groove of things when Monday rolls around....well, a lot of times it is. But this morning I woke up thinking about something that motivated me. I woke up thinking about my last sunrise in Uganda--it was so beautiful {see picture below}! Although I took the trip 4 months ago, the memories I made over there stay fresh in my mind and in my heart-- and the 3,500+ photos I took certainly help with that.
You know, a few years ago, if asked whether I love sunrises or sunsets more I would answer "sunsets" without hesitation. But my answer would be different today. There's so much hope that comes with a sunrise. To me, a sunrise is symbolic of new beginnings, a fresh start, the promise of light...so beautiful. Now, I would have to say I appreciate sunrises more than sunsets.
Have a great week!

This is so pretty! Wishing you a great week!
ReplyDeleteHow very beautiful. I think both sunrises and sunsets are such blessings -- such breathtaking signs of God's presence in our lives, and how He fill us, continually, with hope, and peace. So glad to have discovered your lovely blog :)
ReplyDeleteI had to learn to appreciate sunrises (especially on Monday mornings)! Both are such a blessing though, one signifying a new beginning, and the other a reflection on all that was good throughout your day. Wishing you a great week...
