Setting Up House: Our Travel Wall

Hey Everyone!

So, a few weeks ago I mentioned that there was a lot going on in our lives the first few months of the year.  We moved to a new state, we purchased and moved into our first house, and we were preparing for Trey's arrival.

Moving in was a tough task for the last trimester of my pregnancy.  I remember describing to friends that unpacking boxes felt like I was"running a mile in a swimming pool."  Somehow, I was able to get quite a bit done before baby boy made his appearance, but thankfully my mom was here and helped me out a ton once Trey arrived.  One of the rooms I worked on with my mom was the dining room.

I'm not sure if any of you all remember the traveling pictures I framed and hung in our apartment a couple of years ago.  If not, you can read all about it here.  Well, Scott and I wanted to continue this in our new home and add more pictures of the other countries we've visited.  Even before we purchased the house, I had my eyes on one of the dining room walls for this project.  My mom and I were able to straighten up and organize the dining room (I'll share more photos of the dining room in a future post), and she supervised Trey while I ordered the photos and hung them up when they arrived.

I still have a couple more to hang up, but here's what our travel wall looks like now:

I decided to start hanging the pictures in the center of the wall and expand to each side since we plan to add to the wall as we continue traveling to different countries.  In fact, one of our goals is to travel outside of the United States at least 1 time per year; we're trying to decide where that will be this year...any suggestions??

  1. My family members all the time say that I am killing my time here at web,
however I know I am getting familiarity all the time by reading thes fastidious articles or reviews.

  2. For example, shooting stars are regarding life changing events, nautical stars are generally a symbol of protection and guidance, a pentagram is symbol of protection and balance (unless upside-down,
which signifies the Devil or Darkness), whilst the Shield of David can
be a strong symbol of Judaism. Also these parlors are going to be using latest equipments and are going to be of disposable
nature to enable you to feel confident about each of the accessories applied to you
for designing. Colors are an incredible way to enjoy yourself designing your tattoo.
Look, awesome tattoos are definitely not people who your pals mention are beautiful or press determines as
amazing. The side tattoos for females usually are quite elegant and exquisite because they naturally complement the curves with the female figure.
