In our society, it's easy to get sucked into the "being skinny is the best thing" mentality (I've been in that black hole before). But, it's really not. You can be skinny and really unhealthy! But if you focus on getting healthy by eating well & exercising on a consistent basis, you'll naturally shed that weight.
So, that's what I've been doing. I've been focusing on eating well an exercising on a regular basis for the past 9 months. Want to see some of my results? Well, here they are...
This first picture is of me holding up my pre-pregnancy jeans. The jeans I wore that fit well--not too loose, not too tight. They were JUST right. Now, they're way too big for me! 2 sizes too big.
This next picture is of me holding my pre-pregnancy "skinny" jeans. You know, the jeans that you only wear when you're feeling nice and slim? These were the jeans for me. Yep, they're too big for me also. One size too big.
I'm not posting these pictures to brag or to rub my weight loss in anyone's face. I'm really just posting them to encourage you all on your journey to improved health and fitness. Set a goal and go for it. Be consistent and you can do it!!
