Write it Down

Do you ever have moments where you feel like you have a million things on your mind and you have a hard time keeping track of thoughts?  That was me the other day.  It was really starting to stress me out.  I'd think of something and then 5 more things would pop in my brain and I'd forget the first one--agh!  So annoying.  My mom often reminds me to write things down when they come in my mind; I've taken her advice before, and have found the benefit in recording my thoughts and ideas with pen and paper.

After feeling a bit frazzled the other day, I spent no less than 40 minutes that evening just writing random thoughts & ideas I've had over the past few days and it was AMAZING.  I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off of me and the cloudy haze jumbled in my brain went away.  I wrote things down as they came to my brain and then categorized them to help me figure out how to develop my to-do list for this week or next year.  Yeah, my thoughts were all.over.the.place.
